Red Velvet Oreo Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 200g (2 cups) packed brown sugar.
02 - 113g (1/2 cup) butter, softened.
03 - Two eggs, large.
04 - A teaspoon of vanilla.
05 - 5g (1 tablespoon) cocoa powder, unsweetened.
06 - Baking powder, 1 teaspoon.
07 - Half a teaspoon of salt.
08 - 248g (2 cups) plain flour.
09 - 30ml (2 tablespoons) red food dye.
10 - A generous cup and a half of Oreo chunks.
11 - 170g (1 cup) chocolate chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Grab a square 9x9 metal pan, cover it with foil or parchment, then give it a quick spray of cooking oil.
02 - Blend the butter and brown sugar until creamy. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Then mix in the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
03 - Stir the food coloring and crushed Oreos into the batter. Push it all into the pan and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
04 - Bake for about 22-24 minutes. The center should jiggle a little. Let it cool completely before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Stick with a metal pan for the best outcome.
02 - The middle should look a bit undercooked when baked.
03 - Spray your hands with oil spray if the dough gets sticky.
