Gooey cookie dough layered on fudgy brownies, baked together into a soft, chewy dessert bar you'll love.

# What You'll Need:

→ Brownie Mixture

01 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
02 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1/3 cup cocoa powder
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar
07 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter

→ Cookie Layer

08 - 1 cup chocolate chips
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 large egg
11 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
12 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
13 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
14 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
15 - 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
16 - 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and line your pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
02 - Melt the butter in a microwave-proof bowl. Stir together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined, then sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix it all up until you have a lump-free batter.
03 - In a new bowl, beat together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add in the egg and vanilla, beating until light. Gradually mix in the baking soda, salt, and flour, then fold in the chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
04 - Spread the brownie batter evenly over the bottom of the pan. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough on top, pressing lightly to swirl it into the brownie base to create marbled swirls.
05 - Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are firm but the center still looks a little gooey.
06 - Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, cut it into squares or however you like and enjoy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Chill them in the fridge for about an hour if you want super neat slices.
02 - You can store these in a sealed container on your counter for up to three days.
03 - Feel free to toss in nuts like pecans or walnuts to add some texture.
