# What You'll Need:

→ Essential Items

01 - 450g (1 pound) minced beef
02 - 225g (8 ounces) uncooked pasta (use shells, rotini, or penne)
03 - 2 tablespoons of seasoning for tacos

→ Wet Ingredients

04 - 1 can (14.5 oz) chopped tomatoes
05 - 1 cup of sauce made from tomatoes
06 - 2 cups of water or beef broth
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil (use only if you'd like)

→ Optional Extras

08 - 1 cup of shredded cheese (like cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a Mexican mix)
09 - 2 minced garlic cloves (you can skip this)
10 - ½ cup of black beans (optional)
11 - ½ cup of corn kernels (optional)
12 - ¼ cup of sliced jalapeños or chopped bell peppers (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Warm up a large pot over medium heat. Add olive oil and garlic if you'd like. Crumble and cook the ground beef until it's no longer pink. Remove extra grease if needed.
02 - Sprinkle the taco seasoning on the cooked beef, and blend it all together until the meat is fully coated.
03 - Tip in the chopped tomatoes, broth, tomato sauce, and uncooked pasta. Stir to make sure the pasta is all soaked in the liquid.
04 - Bring everything to a boil, then turn the heat to low. Cover the pot and let it bubble gently for 10-12 minutes, stirring now and then, until the pasta is tender.
05 - Mix in shredded cheese until gooey and melted. Add toppings like sour cream or herbs if you want, and enjoy it warm.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Pick your favorite pasta shape to make it unique
02 - Boost texture by adding corn and black beans
03 - Adjust the heat by choosing mild or hot taco seasoning options
