Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a loaf pan (9x5 inches).

In a bowl, combine baking soda, salt, and flour using a whisk.

Beat the sugar with the butter for approximately 2 minutes until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.

Start with a scoop of the flour mixture, then some buttermilk. Repeat, ending on the flour mix.

In a smaller bowl, stir together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.

Spread half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle with half the sugar cinnamon mix. Add the leftover batter and cinnamon mixture. Drag a knife through it for swirls.

Let it bake for about 50-60 minutes. Cool it off for 10 minutes in the pan before moving it to a wire rack.
