Swirl Cinnamon Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon, ground.
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
03 - 2 cups plain flour.
04 - 1 cup white sugar.
05 - 1/2 cup soft unsalted butter.
06 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
07 - 1 cup room-temperature buttermilk.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
09 - 2 large eggs, at room temperature.
10 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a loaf pan (9x5 inches).
02 - In a bowl, combine baking soda, salt, and flour using a whisk.
03 - Beat the sugar with the butter for approximately 2 minutes until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.
04 - Start with a scoop of the flour mixture, then some buttermilk. Repeat, ending on the flour mix.
05 - In a smaller bowl, stir together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
06 - Spread half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle with half the sugar cinnamon mix. Add the leftover batter and cinnamon mixture. Drag a knife through it for swirls.
07 - Let it bake for about 50-60 minutes. Cool it off for 10 minutes in the pan before moving it to a wire rack.

02 - When swirling the batter, avoid mixing too much.
