Pop butter into a pot and slowly melt it on low heat.

Toss in the brown sugar and stir until it’s blended in well.

Drizzle the milk in while mixing non-stop.

Bring the heat up a notch to medium and let it bubble softly, stirring constantly for a few minutes.

Take the mixture off the heat and let it sit until it's warm but not too hot to touch.

Whisk in 2 cups of powdered sugar until it’s all creamy and smooth.

If it comes out too thin, add extra powdered sugar until it’s the way you like it.

Blend the vanilla in till it’s fully mixed.

Apply the frosting while it’s still soft because it’ll firm up as it sits.
