Cheesy Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 tablespoons butter
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, cleaned up and cut in half

→ Cheese & Cream

04 - 1 large clove of garlic, finely chopped
05 - Salt and pepper as needed
06 - 1/2 cup thick heavy cream
07 - 1/2 cup Parmesan, freshly shredded
08 - 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated fresh

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Chop the cheeses and get the sprouts ready by cutting them.
02 - Melt butter in a pan with olive oil. Toss in the sprouts and cook for about 8 minutes till golden.
03 - Off the heat, mix in the garlic, heavy cream, and half the Gruyère cheese.
04 - Sprinkle on the rest of the cheeses and pop into the oven. Bake for around 15 to 20 minutes until gooey and cooked through.

# Notes:

01 - To get crisp edges, broil a little at the end.
02 - Serve hot so the cheese stays melty and perfect.
03 - Don't worry if you don't have an oven-safe pan; a baking dish works too.
