Buffalo Alfredo Penne (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dairy & Seasonings

01 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
02 - Salt and pepper, add as needed
03 - 1/2 cup mozzarella (shredded)
04 - 1 cup Parmesan, grated

→ Carbs & Protein

05 - 2 cups shredded chicken, cooked
06 - 1 pound penne, uncooked

→ Creamy Sauce Ingredients

07 - 2 cups heavy cream
08 - 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
09 - 2 minced garlic cloves
10 - 1/4 cup butter

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a big pot full of salted water and let it boil. Toss in the penne and cook it until it still has a bite to it (check the box for timing). Drain when done and set it aside.
02 - In a big frying pan, melt the butter on medium heat. Toss in the garlic and let it cook until it smells amazing. Mix in the heavy cream, buffalo sauce, and the Italian seasoning. Let it bubble gently for about 5 to 7 minutes.
03 - Slowly sprinkle in the Parmesan and mozzarella. Stir constantly until the cheese melts and you end up with a super smooth, creamy sauce.
04 - Add the chicken and pasta to the sauce, mixing until it's all coated nicely. Make sure the chicken’s reheated if it has cooled down.

# Notes:

01 - Use more or less buffalo sauce based on how spicy you like it.
02 - Experiment with different cheeses for a personal touch.
03 - For a vegetarian option, replace the chicken with sauteed mushrooms.
