Shrimp Scampi Cheesy Bake (Printable Version)

A rich pasta dish with shrimp in a buttery garlic sauce, blended with creamy cheeses like Parmesan and mozzarella, then baked to perfection.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella.
02 - 4 minced garlic cloves.
03 - 1 cup heavy cream.
04 - 12 ounces of spaghetti or linguine.
05 - A pound of large shrimp, peeled and cleaned.
06 - 1 lemon, zested and juiced.
07 - 4 tablespoons of butter.
08 - A pinch of salt and black pepper for flavor.
09 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
10 - 1/4 teaspoon of red chili flakes.
11 - 1/2 cup chicken broth or white wine.
12 - 2 tablespoons parsley, freshly chopped.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Turn your oven to 375°F. Cook your pasta till it's just firm, rinse and leave aside.
02 - Let butter melt in a heated skillet. Stir in the garlic and chili flakes for about a minute till you can smell them.
03 - Toss the shrimp into the pan. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink. Take them out and set aside.
04 - Pour in the wine and simmer for a couple of minutes. Mix in the cream, lemon juice, and zest. Let it simmer but not boil.
05 - Stir pasta into the sauce. Spread into a baking dish, layer with the shrimp, and sprinkle both cheeses on top.
06 - Cook for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is gooey and melted. Sprinkle parsley on top and enjoy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Feel free to swap chicken broth for the white wine if you prefer.
02 - Tastes best when eaten right after baking.
