Grease up a 9x13-inch pan with some butter or a spritz of cooking spray, then put it aside for later.

Use medium heat to gently melt the butter and peanut butter in a big pot. Keep stirring till it’s all smooth. Toss in the marshmallows and keep mixing until they’re melted down and combined.

Pull the pot off the heat. Stir in the fine sea salt and vanilla to bring out the flavors.

Dump the cereal into the pot and fold it in carefully until every piece is covered in the gooey mixture.

Move the mixture to your greased pan and gently press it into place with oiled hands or a spatula.

If you like, sprinkle some flaky sea salt over the warm mixture while it’s still sticky.

Let it all cool on the counter for about half an hour. Slice it into squares and dig in!
