One Pot Pasta Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
02 - 8 ounces dry spaghetti
03 - 16 ounces Italian sausage, cooked

→ Sauce Base

04 - 3 cups beef broth
05 - 1 teaspoon sugar
06 - 3-4 minced garlic cloves
07 - 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
08 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
09 - 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes
10 - Onion powder, 1 teaspoon
11 - Red pepper flakes, optional amount

→ For Serving

12 - Fresh parsley or basil leaves
13 - Parmesan cheese, grated
14 - Season with salt and pepper

# Instructions:

01 - In a pot on medium heat, brown the sausage for 8-10 minutes and crumble it. Drain extra grease before continuing.
02 - Cook garlic and tomato paste for just a minute. Mix in spices, the broth, and crushed tomatoes.
03 - When the mixture's boiling, toss in spaghetti. Give it a stir now and then, leaving it uncovered for around 12 minutes.
04 - Turn off the stove and sprinkle mozzarella over. Let it sit covered for 5 minutes, then stir it together and add toppings.

# Notes:

01 - Add extra liquid if it gets too thick while cooking
02 - Swap ground sausage or remove casings from links
03 - This makes a hearty amount of sauce
