Mini McGriddle Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of breakfast sausage.
02 - 1/4 cup of real maple syrup.
03 - 1 1/2 cups water.
04 - 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese.
05 - 2 cups of pancake mix.

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 400°F. Spray mini muffin pans. Fry the sausage, break it into bits, and drain excess grease.
02 - Combine water and pancake mix until smooth. Toss in the sausage, syrup, and cheese.
03 - Spoon the batter into the muffin pans, filling them about three-quarters of the way.
04 - Bake for 12-15 minutes till the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
05 - Cool the muffins slightly before popping them out. Add more syrup on top, if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Switch it up by using a different cheese or swapping the sausage for maple-flavored ones.
02 - Store in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze them for 3 months.
03 - They’re awesome with yogurt or fresh fruit on the side.
