Seafood Pasta Night (Printable Version)

Tender shrimp and pasta in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce that's so good it might seal the deal at any romantic meal!

# What You'll Need:

→ Pasta & Protein

01 - 1 pound large shrimp, deveined and peeled
02 - 8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine

→ Sauce Components

03 - 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
05 - 1 cup chicken broth
06 - 1 cup heavy cream
07 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Seasonings & Garnish

08 - Chopped parsley for garnish
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Warm olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Throw in the shrimp, seasoned with a sprinkle of salt and black pepper. Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes, or until they're pink and cooked through. Take them out of the skillet and set them aside.
02 - Fill a big pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a boil. Toss in the spaghetti or fettuccine and cook according to the instructions on the box. Drain once it's al dente and keep it ready.
03 - Using the same skillet, sauté the chopped garlic along with red pepper flakes (if you're using them) for about 30 seconds until it smells amazing. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream. Let it gently bubble. Slowly mix in Parmesan cheese while stirring, creating a smooth and creamy sauce. Adjust salt and pepper as needed.
04 - Add both the shrimp you cooked earlier and the pasta to the creamy sauce in the skillet. Toss it all around so everything is coated well.
05 - Take the skillet off the heat. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish and serve it right away.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, try adding a splash of white wine just before pouring in the cream and broth.
02 - Serve this while the sauce is still warm and creamy for the best experience.
03 - To cut down on calories, you can swap in half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
