02 - 1/2 cup cocoa powder
03 - 1 cup light brown sugar
04 - 1 cup white sugar
05 - 4 eggs
06 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
07 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

→ Gluten-Free Alternative

08 - 1 1/3 cups brown rice flour
09 - 1/2 cup tapioca starch
10 - 1/3 cup potato starch

→ Frosting

11 - 1/4 cup butter, softened
12 - 3 cups powdered sugar
13 - 1/4 cup cocoa powder
14 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
15 - 5 tablespoons milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking pan or line with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth. Add the flour and stir until combined.
02 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly to the corners with a spatula. Bake for 22-24 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
03 - While the brownies are baking, prepare the frosting. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and kosher salt. Beat with an electric mixer for 1-2 minutes until the mixture resembles dry crumbs. Add the milk and beat again for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
04 - Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Spread the frosting gently over the warm brownies. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
