# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 6 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

→ Seasonings

02 - 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

→ For Cooking

06 - 1 tablespoon butter
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Sauce and Finishing

08 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted
09 - 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped up small
10 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
11 - 2 tablespoons honey
12 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce (pick light or dark)
13 - 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced

# Steps to Follow:

01 - First, preheat your skillet with olive oil on medium. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken thighs well with garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and chili flakes so every piece gets seasoning.
02 - Once your pan's hot, lay the seasoned chicken thighs down and cook on each side for 4–5 minutes. You're aiming for them to be golden and juicy inside.
03 - Take the cooked chicken out of the pan and put it on a plate. Let it hang out while you work on the sauce.
04 - Using the same pan, melt butter on medium-high. Toss in garlic and chili flakes. Stir and let it cook just half a minute so it smells great.
05 - Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Give it a good stir while it cooks for about a minute. Add the chicken (plus any juices) back in, turning the pieces so they're all covered in that glossy sauce.
06 - Let the chicken simmer gently for two or three minutes. This way, it soaks up all the goodness in the pan. Throw in parsley and sesame seeds before taking off the heat.
07 - Move your glazed chicken onto plates. Ladle any leftover sauce over the top. Finish up with extra garnish if you want, then serve it hot.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Want it gluten-free? Swap in GF soy sauce. Don't add sesame seeds if allergies are an issue. If the sauce’s too thick, pour in half a cup of chicken broth. Sitting the chicken in the seasonings for 15 minutes helps the flavor pop.
