Family dinner idea (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups water
02 - 1 onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 pound ground beef
04 - 1 cup uncooked white rice (long-grain)
05 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
06 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 teaspoon paprika
08 - Salt and pepper, add as much as you like
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Topping

10 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and let it warm up. A hot oven will make this bake perfectly!
02 - Cook up that ground beef along with the onions in a big pan. Once it's all browned and smells amazing, drain off the extra grease so it doesn't get soggy later.
03 - Take a big bowl and combine your uncooked rice, soups, water, and seasonings. Make sure you mix it until everything looks even.
04 - Dump everything into a 9×13 dish and cover it snug with foil. Let it cook for about an hour—it’s a great time to relax or tackle your to-do list!
05 - Take off the foil and pile on that cheddar. Pop it back in the oven for around 15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden.

# Notes:

01 - Want more flavor? Swap water for beef broth.
02 - Sneak in some extra veggies by tossing in diced mushrooms or bell peppers.
03 - Switch up your cheese with Monterey Jack or a cheese blend for a twist.
