Green Grinch Pops (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
02 - Pinch of salt.
03 - 1 box of red velvet cake mix, plus package ingredients.
04 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened.
05 - 24 oz light green candy coating melts.
06 - 1 tsp vegetable shortening.
07 - Red sugar hearts.
08 - Sticks for cake pops.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Follow the box to bake the cake, then cool it fully.
02 - Blend powdered sugar, cream cheese, and a pinch of salt till it's all smooth.
03 - Crumble your cooled cake, stir in the frosting, roll into rounds, then chill them.
04 - Microwave the candy melts with shortening till smooth.
05 - Dip the sticks' ends in candy melt, push into cake balls, and freeze to secure.
06 - Dip each ball into melted candy and let them harden upright.
07 - Once coating firms up, pop on stripes or a little heart for garnish.
