# What You'll Need:

01 - 2 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
02 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 ½ tablespoon matcha powder

05 - 200 g unsalted butter
06 - 1 cup brown sugar
07 - 1 tablespoon white sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 2 large eggs
10 - 1 cup white chocolate chunks

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes, stirring continuously until it turns golden brown. Transfer it to a bowl to cool.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder. Set aside.
03 - In another bowl, mix the cooled brown butter with the brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing for at least a minute until well combined.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until fully incorporated. Fold in the white chocolate chunks.
05 - Cover the cookie dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
06 - Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Scoop the dough into cookie-sized portions and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
