Chop fish into strips about a finger length and an inch wide.

Rub turmeric, chili powder, lime juice, and salt onto the fish pieces. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Grind cilantro, black pepper, cumin, mustard seeds, ginger, garlic, green chilies, and a little water into a paste. Spread over fish and let it soak in for 15-20 minutes.

Use three different dishes: one with beaten egg, another with dry breadcrumbs, and a third with plain flour.

Coat each fish stick in flour first, then egg, and finally breadcrumb.

Brush the air fryer basket lightly with oil. Arrange the fish pieces apart so they don’t touch and brush the tops with oil too.

Air fry at 180°C for 15 minutes. Flip halfway for even cooking.

Plate while hot and serve with your favorite sauce and lemon slices.
