Golden and crispy chicken chunks bathed in a honey garlic glaze. Ready fast for a crowd-pleasing starter or hearty dinner.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 green onion, chopped.
02 - Sesame seeds for garnish.
03 - 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground.
04 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
05 - 2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
06 - 4 tablespoons honey.
07 - A pinch of salt.
08 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
09 - 2 egg whites.
10 - Enough canola or vegetable oil to fry (about an inch deep).
11 - 1 pound of chicken thighs or breasts, cut into smaller pieces.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat your oven to 200°F, then lay out a lined baking tray. Grab a pot for the sauce and pour about an inch of oil into a large pan.
02 - Blend egg whites, cornstarch, and salt until frothy. Add the chicken pieces and let them sit for 10-15 minutes while the oil warms up.
03 - Heat the oil in a large pan to around 350-360°F. Check using a cooking thermometer or dip the handle of a wooden spoon—steady bubbling means it's ready.
04 - Cook the chicken in small batches for 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden. Let it drain on paper towels and pop it in the oven to keep it warm.
05 - Cook the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, just until it starts to thicken. Mix it with the fried chicken.
06 - Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onion on top. Serve while it's still warm.

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can keep it warm in the oven at 200°F for up to 45 minutes.
02 - Make extra sauce if you’re pairing this with rice.
03 - Want more flavor? Add oyster sauce or sesame oil to the marinade.
