Crispy Mozzarella Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 sticks of mozzarella cheese.
02 - 1 cup of plain flour.
03 - 2 eggs, large.
04 - 2 tablespoons of water.
05 - 2 cups of seasoned breadcrumbs.
06 - 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan (optional).
07 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
08 - 1 teaspoon of dried oregano flakes.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of fine salt.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
11 - Oil for deep frying.
12 - Marinara dipping sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - If you'd like, cut the mozzarella sticks into halves.
02 - Use three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with eggs whisked with water, and one mixing breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and spices.
03 - Roll each cheese stick in the flour.
04 - Coat the stick in egg mixture.
05 - Press into the breadcrumb mix until fully coated.
06 - Do the breading process twice for a thicker crust.
07 - Lay them on a tray and freeze for at least 1 hour.
08 - Get the oil to a sizzling 350°F.
09 - Fry in small groups for 1-2 minutes until they're golden brown.
10 - Taste them hot and dip in marinara sauce.

# Notes:

01 - If you freeze and double coat them, you'll get a crispier finish with gooey cheese inside.
