Cottage Cheese Alfredo (Printable Version)

A healthy, protein-packed creamy pasta sauce.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pasta Base

01 - 8 oz of your favorite pasta

→ Sauce Ingredients

02 - 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese or whole milk variety
03 - 3/4 cup of whole milk
04 - 1/2 cup parmesan, shredded
05 - 1 tsp of cornstarch (helps thicken)
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - 1/2 tsp of oregano
08 - 1/2 tsp basil
09 - Add salt, as much as you like
10 - A little black pepper, to your taste

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Boil the pasta as per the directions on its package. Keep it aside when done.
02 - Toss the cottage cheese, milk, parmesan, cornstarch, garlic powder, basil, and oregano into a blender. Blend until silky smooth.
03 - Pour the blended sauce into a big pan. Heat it up gently over a low flame. Stir it now and then until it's nice and warm (takes about 5 minutes).
04 - Mix the pasta right into the warm cheesy sauce. Stir well so it’s covered evenly. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper if you like.
05 - Dish it up while it’s hot! If you want, add fresh parmesan, chopped parsley, or cracked black pepper on top.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Fresh parsley or basil sprinkled on top is a great touch for added taste.
02 - Feel free to adjust seasoning—garlic or spices can be boosted to your liking!
