# What You'll Need:

01 - Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 4 pieces.
02 - 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped.
03 - 1/2 cup of shredded sharp cheddar (optional).
04 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
05 - Fresh parsley for decoration (optional).
06 - 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh chives.
07 - 1/2 cup of chicken stock.
08 - Salt and black pepper, adjust as needed.
09 - 1 teaspoon paprika.
10 - 8 ounces of softened cream cheese.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F. Lightly coat a 9x13 pan with olive oil or cooking spray.
02 - Rub paprika, salt, and pepper on the chicken. Heat oil in a skillet, then cook the chicken for roughly 3 minutes per side till golden brown.
03 - Sauté garlic in the same pan till you smell it. Add chicken broth and simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in cream cheese till creamy, then mix in chives, salt, and pepper.
04 - Place chicken in the oiled dish, pour the sauce all over it, and sprinkle cheddar on top if used.
05 - Bake for 25-30 minutes till the chicken reaches 165°F inside. If you want bubbly, browned cheese, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
06 - Sprinkle parsley over the top before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can brighten the sauce with a bit of lemon juice if you'd like.
