01 - 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
02 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 pound ground beef
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

→ Sauce & Liquids

05 - 14.5 ounce can undrained diced tomatoes
06 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 15 ounce can tomato sauce
08 - 1½ cups broth made from beef

→ Seasonings

09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
11 - 1 teaspoon Italian spice mix
12 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ Toppings

13 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
14 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned. Drain off most of the grease, keeping just a tiny bit.
02 - Add the pieces of onion and garlic to the beef. Stir and let it cook for a couple of minutes until they’re soft.
03 - Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, the broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Let it bubble lightly.
04 - Toss in the macaroni, cover the pot, and let it simmer on low for 15-20 minutes. Stir every so often, so it doesn’t stick.
05 - If using, mix in half the shredded cheese. Spread the rest over the top and cover until it melts completely. Add parsley for a fresh touch before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can stay fresh in the fridge for 3 days.
02 - Throw in veggies like peas or peppers for more nutrients.
03 - Experiment with different cheese varieties for a new twist.
