Best Rice Krispie Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 16 ounces mini marshmallows, save 1 cup aside
02 - 6 cups crispy rice cereal
03 - 6 tablespoons salted butter
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Lay parchment paper in a 9x9 pan to stop sticking.
02 - Heat the butter in a big pan on low. Toss in all but 1 cup of marshmallows and stir until smooth.
03 - Take it off the heat. Mix in the vanilla, cereal, and leftover marshmallows until coated.
04 - Use damp fingers to gently press into the pan. Wait an hour before cutting it up.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh marshmallows work best for this.
02 - Don’t press too hard to keep a soft texture.
03 - You can make this gluten-free by swapping in the right cereal.
