Bean Soup Slow Cooker (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound dried Great Northern beans.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
03 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
04 - 2 cups baby carrots, chopped into thin slices.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin.
07 - 8 ounces of bacon, diced up.
08 - 1/8 teaspoon thyme.
09 - 64 ounces of chicken stock or broth.
10 - 1 cup diced onion.
11 - 2 cups chopped celery.
12 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
13 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Fry bacon till crispy, then put it to the side.
02 - Throw everything: bacon, oil, veggies, stock, seasonings, and beans, straight into your slow cooker.
03 - With the lid on, cook on high for around 5 to 6 hours till beans are nice and soft.
04 - Top it off with stuff like cheese, sour cream, onions, greens, or even avocado slices if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - No need to soak the beans beforehand.
02 - Low heat option works too, just let it go for 8 to 10 hours.
03 - Feel free to pile on your favorite toppings.
