Chicken Parmesan Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup parmesan cheese, split.
02 - 2-3 tablespoons fresh basil, cut into small pieces.
03 - 3/4 cup panko crumbs.
04 - 2 cups cooked chicken, cut into chunks.
05 - 8 ounces of rotini noodles.
06 - 1 teaspoon blend of Italian herbs.
07 - 4 tablespoons melted salted butter.
08 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, split in half.
09 - 24 ounces of marinara sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 350°F. Boil pasta in salty water till almost cooked.
02 - Stir together noodles, sauce, spices, chicken, and half the cheeses.
03 - Put it all into a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with the leftover cheese.
04 - Mix breadcrumbs with butter. Spread that over the cheese topping.
05 - Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Then broil for 3-5 minutes until crispy.
06 - Scatter fresh basil on top right before serving.

# Notes:

01 - You can make this ahead and chill in the fridge.
02 - Use only half a box of noodles.
03 - Don’t overcook the pasta—keep it a little firm.
