Sweet Asian Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Soy sauce or tamari
02 - Ketchup
03 - Rice vinegar
04 - Light brown sugar
05 - Canned pineapple juice

→ Thickener

06 - Water
07 - Cornstarch

→ Optional

08 - Red food coloring (natural)

# Instructions:

01 - Put everything except the cornstarch mixture into a pot and stir
02 - Let it boil, pour in cornstarch mixture, stir until thickens, then lower heat
03 - Cool it fully before storing; add food coloring if you'd like

# Notes:

01 - Fresh pineapple juice isn't recommended
02 - Stays good in the fridge for 2-3 weeks
03 - Works great with sugar substitutes
