Alfredo Chicken Tortelloni (Printable Version)

Tender tortelloni tossed in creamy Alfredo sauce, topped with grilled chicken slices, golden breadcrumbs, and gooey cheese. Feel-good food at home.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 cup heavy cream.
02 - 1 cup half and half.
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
05 - 3/4 cup Parmesan, shredded.
06 - 1 pound chicken breasts, no bones.
07 - 1/4 cup Asiago cheese (or extra Parmesan).
08 - 9 ounces cheese tortellini, fresh.
09 - 1/3 cup Panko crumbs.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs.
11 - 4 ounces butter.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
13 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
14 - 1/2 cup Mozzarella, shredded.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Flatten chicken to roughly half an inch thick. Toss it with oil and all the seasonings inside a bag. Leave it to marinate for half an hour.
02 - In a pan with oil, cook chicken on medium-high heat for 7-9 minutes on each side. Remove, let it sit, then slice.
03 - Warm butter with cream and half-and-half until it's bubbling gently (not boiling!). Stir in cheeses and garlic powder till it's creamy.
04 - Prepare tortellini as the package says. Toss it with the sauce in an oven-friendly dish.
05 - Lay chicken slices over the tortellini. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and Mozzarella on top. Broil for a couple of minutes till the cheese melts and turns golden.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Grating your own cheese works best for super smooth results.
02 - Keep a close eye while broiling so it doesn’t burn.
03 - After cooking, let the chicken rest to keep it juicy when sliced.
